DON'T BE A DICK! Campaign: Addy Winner and to be featured in PRINT magazine

Dick is the spokesperson for the safety awareness campaign for the Cooper-Young Community Awareness Association (CYCA). While Dick may not be the smartest guy on the block, he has been awarded three Memphis Advertising Federation ADDY's and will gain national recognition in PRINT Magazine in October 2008.

PRINT magazine is dedicated to tracking new creative and technological advances in visual communications and presenting these developments to their audience of designers, art directors, illustrators, photographers, educators, students and enthusiasts of popular culture in a thoughtful, energetic, visually striking manor. (Visit www.PRINTmag.com for more information.)

Dick is an example of what not to do to keep himself and the Cooper-Young neighborhood safe including leaving valuables in his car, never paying attention to his surroundings and not reporting suspicious behavior.

The campaign – including print ads, posters, t-shirts, stickers, buttons, website and yard signs - was created by Harvest.

Maybe there is something to be said for not always being the smartest guy on the block...
